Hi there

Just a quick one....

You may or may not have heard about Mrs Twins' project - crochet blankets for the elderly.  After having been a quiet observer for the past couple of months I decided that I wanted to use my new-found-granny-blanket-square-skill and make a contribution to this wonderful project.

I have done a short post on the SIBOL website today.  If anyone else is interested in taking part in this project then all of the information you need is on the site.  Sue is a really lovely lady and I'm sure would happily welcome any new contributors!

  1. I was just testing my link out laura.
Many thanks for the lovely post on here, and also SIBOL. I really enjoyed your post and I hope others will pop over and read it.

It's very nice of you to spare the time to say hello and I hope you'll pop back and do another one some time!
    Hugs and thanks Suex

  2. Hi Laura,
Just to say your squares have arrived. They are so pretty. I love the colours you've been using. You've made a great job of them too! Well done.
Squares look lovely on blogs, but so much better too in the flesh so to speak!
Thanks ever so much Laura, look out for flickr. Having trouble getting you on there at the moment for some reason.
    Hugs Suex

  3. Hi Doris!!
What a wonderful reason to be crocheting!
I know that the recipients of your blankets will be ever so blessed!
I admire you for showing love and kindness by the giving of your time and talent for others!
    That is so sweet!
I pray you are having a wonderful day making your home!!
